DONOR POLICY

Our Donor Policy is a combination of commitments that we make to our users explaining how they will be treated and how our values and code of ethics help make those commitments happen.

We will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by Conservation International from donors, both online (through all CI controlled websites) and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. Any credit card information supplied online by donors is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

REAL SECOND CHANCE VALUES

  • We help create self-reliant women with expanded capacity for entrepreneurial accomplishment.
  • In that process, we fine tune our knowledge in learning how women, through their business success, can contribute to their communities, both economically and socially.
  • We help develop leadership to build upon the needs and values of people and to inspire the aspirations and potential of others to participate in entrepreneurial efforts, whether directly, or in support roles.
  • We respect the diversity of life and culture in a community. We want to help build and maintain a sustainable environment that is a model of successful social and economic growth for any community

OUR CODE OF ETHICS

We are committed to:

  • Acting honestly, truthfully with integrity in all our transactions and dealings.
  • Avoiding conflicts of interest.
  • Appropriately handling actual or apparent conflicts of interest in our relationships.
  • Treating every individual and grantee we deal with, with dignity and respect.
  • Treating our employees with respect.
  • Being a desired community participant, respecting both the spirit and the letter of the law.
